Toledo
wines
Our wines are elaborated with grapes from our own vineyards. We grow different red varieties, such as Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, as well as white varieties, such as Chardonnay and Viognier. Each of our wines are elaborated with high quality standards.
We use new barrels, as they add nuances of the wood to the wine and add to the quality of the aging, achieving the fruity balance that we seek in each of our creations.
The aging ratings are trade names but are of less interest when the perfect balance between wood and fruit is reached. The time that each wine spends in barrels, which is known as the aging process, is not as significant Rather, each wine has to spend the adequate time in the barrels to achieve that perfect balance between fruity aromas and those of wood in order to achieve an excellent result.
Wineries
A modern winery with more than 100 years of history
Although the history of NOC wineries is very recent, it dates back a long way.
It all started more than a century ago, in 1918, when Vinícola Morales was created in Manzaneque, Toledo. For almost 100 years, the wine production of the winery was destined almost exclusively for local consumption.
Carlos Galdón, the new owner, has promoted a radical transformation, incorporating the innovations that have been introduced in the wine world in the last 20 years. The challenge that was set was to make the highest quality wines of Spain in Toledo.
This required a new foundation of the Winery.
